Manchester United dropped interest in Ajax star Donny van de Beek after they were quoted just £35million for the midfielder, reports say.

The Holland international flourished for the Eredivisie outfit last season, helping them win the league title and make the semi-finals of the Champions League.
As a result, Van de Beek was linked with a move away with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham all emerging as potential suitors.
And the Mirror claim that United turned down the chance to sign the Holland star for a relatively-modest £35m this summer.
