Image
Romelu Lukaku hit his 50th and 51st international goals as Belgium became the first team to qualify for Euro 2020 after they hammered San Marino 9-0 - matching the record for the biggest margin of victory in their history. Inter Milan striker Lukaku became the first Belgian to reach the milestone with a right-footed shot to open the scoring in the 28th minute. He set up Nacer Chadli three minutes later before an own-goal from Cristian Brolli put Belgium 3-0 up. Lukaku grabbed his second - and 51st goal for Belgium - on 41 minutes, assisted by Real Madrid's Eden Hazard. A deflected Toby Alderweireld effort in the 43rd minute and a Youri Tielemens shot in stoppage time saw Belgium cruise in 6-0 up at the break.

Manchester United were offering interest to sign star of Ajax Don Van De Beek this Transfer window.        Manchester United dropped interest in Ajax star Donny van de Beek after they were quoted just £35million for the midfielder, reports say. The Holland international flourished for the Eredivisie outfit last season, helping them win the league title and make the semi-finals of the Champions League. As a result, Van de Beek was linked with a move away with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham all emerging as potential suitors. And the Mirror claim that United turned down the chance to sign the Holland star for a relatively-modest £35m this summer.
